#VoteTogether Party Brings Voters out for Nashville Municipal Elections

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, on the last day of early voting in Nashville, AMAC held a #VoteTogether Party at Casa Azafran. Close to 200 people came and enjoyed the food from House of Kabob, games, ice cream and prizes. Two outstanding spoken word artists inspired people to be active voters. Casa Azafran was packed with voters that day! Local elections typically sees lower voter turnout, but the #VoteTogether Party brought the community out to vote and have fun! Muslims celebrated with #MyMuslimVote, declaring that their vote was for an inclusive community. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the elections.
