We are too and that’s why we have partnered with more than 16 other Memphis and statewide organizations in a coalition called "Free The 901" to stop the occupation and fight for real safety and justice. We need opportunity NOT occupation! The National Guard will ramp up violence and target Black and immigrant communities. Real safety means investing in people, not punishment. Memphis is safer when we support youth, mental health, and community programs, not when we flood our neighborhoods with armed forces. Let’s end the occupation and uplift those most impacted.
