About The Event
Building Power through Advocacy
The American Muslim Advisory Council in partnership with Voter Education Fund will hold an advocacy training on the importance of civic participation in the Muslim community as we enter the 2022 election season. They will discuss how community members can get involved and provide ways on making your voice heard.
In addition, they will provide a state legislative update and highlight important bills making their way through the legislative process that will impact the Muslim community in Tennessee. You will also get the opportunity to register for Muslim Day on the Hill, AMAC’s annual advocacy day, where community members will get the opportunity to meet with their respective elected officials in the Tenn. General Assembly.
