Where to Look for Affordable Housing in Nashville

Subsidized housing is a broad term that covers all housing that the government provides assistance for in order to make it more affordable; this can include Income Based Housing, Section 8 Housing (where your landlord will accept a voucher for a private rental), or Public Housing (renting directly from the government).

  1. Go to “Advanced Search,” click on Nashville,

  2. Scroll down to “Other Search Options.”

  3. Click on “Income Based or Sliding Scale Rent”

  4. Click the search button.


Once there, you will be able to find affordable options available to you!
