Would you like to be more involved in the community? Are there issues you are passionate about and would like to learn how to advocate on those issues? Are you interested in serving in city or state boards or commissions?


AMAC is partnering with America Indivisible to to help community members explore the Nashville civic engagement scene and the role of faith identity in public life. Join this skill building opportunity to learn about how to build your own civic health while strengthening relationships with your local government. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to meet Councilmembers Fabian Bedne and Mina Johnson and the Director of the Mayor's Office office of New Americans. to discuss how Muslims across Nashville can get involved in civic spaces and build relationships with city and state officials. Dinner will be served.
